Mill Road Campus (MRC) is a separate site situated approximately ½ mile from the main Fambridge Road Campus.  MRC accommodates years 7 and 8 and offers a staged transition into secondary school. There are almost 600 students at MRC and the building is a simple two-story quad design, which means becoming familiar with the school, other students and staff, is easy for year 7 students.  Year 7 and 8 students enjoy excellent facilities which support the wide curriculum offered.   We have recently built  a new dance studio and for those students with extra energy to burn, we have installed outdoor play equipment.

Helping Students To Learn

Each year group has an Achievement Leader (AL) and a Student Support Manager (SSM).  The Achievement Leader monitors the progress, rewards successes and puts in support if students find learning difficult. The Student Support Managers help with the things – big or small - that worry students.  SSMs are non-teaching staff which means they are able to respond quickly to situations and maintain excellent communication with parents and carers.
