Dear Student/Parent
Uni4U at Anglia Ruskin University - Saturday 2nd April 2011
We are pleased to invite you to Uni4U, taking place at Anglia Ruskin University, Chelmsford. Uni4U is an opportunity for your whole family to explore your local university. The day has been designed with year 9 and 10 students in mind, however, there will be activities on offer for everyone.
Uni4U will start at 10am, beginning with an official welcome by our Vice Chancellor, Professor Mike Thorne, in our auditorium which will provide you with an outline of the day and a quick introduction to our university. A selection of drop-in sessions hosted by our academic staff and students will run continuously throughout the day, as well as other scheduled talks and activities. Planned sessions include:
- Experience a ride in our flight simulator
- Campus tours
- Stop Motion Animation workshop
- Student finance myth buster
- Leave with your very own graduation photo
This is a small selection of the activities on offer. Please feel free to explore as much as you wish until the event draws to a close at 3pm.
This event is free of charge, including parking and morning refreshments, but you must confirm your attendance in advance. Places will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis so please complete your booking as soon as possible and by 11th March 2011 at the latest. You will receive further information after this date. Please note students must be accompanied by an adult.

Inter Schools Show Jumping Championships
Congratulations to our show school show jumping team who did very well at the National Equestrian Association Championships this weekend. They came 7th overall, against 15 other schools which is a fantastic achievement (especially as the Plume school was the only state school represented).
