My name is Paula Flight, and I am proud to serve as the Catering & Hospitality Manager here at Plume, Maldon’s Community Academy & Sixth Form College. Together with my fully trained and highly dedicated catering team, I am committed to ensuring that every student enjoys a positive, welcoming, and high-quality dining experience. We prepare fresh, nutritious meals daily, using quality ingredients and professional standards that reflect our passion for great food and excellent service. You can be confident that your child will be offered freshly cooked, well-balanced meals each day, prepared with care by a team who take pride in supporting the health and wellbeing of our students.

What we offer...

The Plume is proud to offer a range of quality fresh food from 3 outlets over two campuses.

 

All our Catering outlets have been awarded 5 stars for hygiene March (2022)

The Main Canteen at MRC (Mill Road Campus) – offers daily hot and cold food to Years 7 & 8. It also offers assorted pizzas, Pasta King, assorted panini bar.

 

The Main Canteen at FRC (Fambridge Road Campus) – offers students hot and cold food with the added bonus of street eats plus assorted pizza’s, Panini bar and Pasta king.

 

The Coffee Shop (situated at the College) – This shop is used by College Students and staff. They can grab a bean to cup coffee – Fresh Deli Bar and snacks.

This shop is open from 9.30am – 2pm

 

We continue to offer a wide range of healthy food and drinks both at break and lunchtime. We aim to keep prices low and affordable to all students. Our menu is revised each term to enable season inspired dishes to be served.
