Science Technician
We are seeking to appoint a Science Technician to join us on a permanent basis as soon as possible. The post offers an excellent opportunity to work in the science department of our highly successful academy. The core purpose of the role is to provide full technician support to teaching staff particularly in the preparation of equipment, chemicals, specimens and other resources for class practical work, demonstrations, assessments and examinations.

Learning Support Assistant
We are seeking to appoint a part time Learning Support Assistant to start as soon as possible on a fixed-term basis until 20 July 2026. The post offers an excellent opportunity to work in a strong SEND department in our highly successful academy which holds a good Ofsted status. The core purpose of the role is to support the progress, learning, achievement, and wellbeing of SEND students in line with the National Curriculum, codes of practice and academy policies and procedures.

Head of Year
We are seeking to appoint a Head of Year on a permanent basis from September 2026. This role will take the lead responsibility in managing a Year Group, in addition to a full-time teaching contract. The post offers an excellent opportunity in our highly successful 11-19 academy. The role will report to the Campus Lead, in addition to the Faculty Leader of their subject, and the candidate will teach a full timetable across both campuses within the subject.

Key Stage 4 Coordinator - Mathematics
We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Mathematics with additional responsibility for KS4 Coordination on a full-time permanent contract basis with effect from September 2026. The post offers an excellent opportunity to work in a very strong Mathematics Faculty in our highly successful 11-19 academy. The emphasis will be on promoting effective teaching and learning, securing good or better outcomes, helping to lead, manage and develop a specific area of the curriculum and working to enhance the teaching practice of other teachers within the faculty.

Teacher of Technology (Specialism in Food and Textiles)
​We are seeking to appoint a full-time Teacher of Technology with Specialism in Food and Textiles to join our expanding team on a permanent basis with effect from September 2026. The post offers an excellent opportunity to work in a very strong Technology Faculty in our highly successful 11-19 academy. The role will report to the Subject Leader and the candidate will teach within the subject.

Lead Practitioner for Personal Development, Character Education and Careers
We are seeking to appoint a permanent full-time Lead Practitioner for Personal Development (PSHE), Character Education (CE) and Careers with effect from 1 September 2026 to join our Senior Leadership Team, to provide strategic and operational leadership across both campuses. As a member of SLT, the postholder will attend SLT meetings, contribute to the SLT duty rota, and support key academy events, including careers events (e.g., Careers Fair, options and progression events), as required.

Examinations Officer
We are seeking an Examinations Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for the organisation, administration and compliance assurance of all internal and external examinations at Plume Academy, ensuring examinations and assessments are conducted in full accordance with JCQ regulations and awarding body requirements, and that the security, integrity and reputation of the centre are upheld at all times. The post offers an excellent opportunity to work in our highly successful academy.
