Reading Intervention Tutor

We are seeking to appoint a Reading Intervention Tutor to support our English department on a full or part-time basis as soon as possible. The post offers an excellent opportunity to work in a strong academic department in our highly successful academy. The Department has a strong team working ethos, is very supportive and excellent schemes of work for all courses are in place. There is also an excellent academy wide support and development programme for all new staff.

Caretaker / Maintenance Assistant

We are seeking to appoint a Caretaker / Maintenance Assistant on a permanent basis to join our busy Site Team. The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth running of the academy by carrying out a range of maintenance duties including security and supervision of the site and related equipment and other caretaking duties including porterage, cleaning and maintenance. We are seeking an efficient, flexible and well organised person to add to our existing team. Previous experience within building maintenance or security is essential and full training will be given.

Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking to appoint a part time Learning Support Assistant to start as soon as possible on a fixed-term basis until 20 July 2026. The post offers an excellent opportunity to work in a strong SEND department in our highly successful academy. The core purpose of the role is to support the progress, learning, achievement, and wellbeing of SEND students in line with the National Curriculum, codes of practice and academy policies and procedures.

Music Assistant

We are seeking to appoint a Music Assistant to join us on a casual basis as soon as possible. This post offers an excellent opportunity to work in a strong administrative department in our highly successful academy, which holds good Ofsted status. The core purpose of the role is to provide full technician support to teaching staff, particularly in the preparation and cleaning / clearing of lesson materials and the maintenance of equipment for class practical work.

Assistant Headteacher (Inclusion)

We are seeking to appoint a permanent full-time Assistant Headteacher (Inclusion) with effect from February or Easter 2026 to join our Senior Leadership Team. The post of Assistant Headteacher - Inclusion is a senior leadership role at Plume Academy, and we are seeking an ambitious and dynamic leader to lead an exceptional SEN department. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for our whole-school approach to Inclusion, ensuring that the diverse needs of all students are identified, understood, and met effectively.
