Exam Invigilator

We are seeking to appoint Invigilators to work alongside a strong Examinations Department in our highly successful academy which holds a good Ofsted status, on a casual basis. The preferred candidate would need to be reliable, flexible and readily available during the main exam period. Candidates will need to be confident and maintain a reassuring presence for students in exam halls or rooms and be able to give clear instructions and manage situations involving different groups of people, for which full training will be given.

Teacher of Art

Closing date: 26 February 2024

We are seeking to appoint a full-time Teacher of Art who is capable of teaching Digital Media or who is willing to develop it. The position will be on a full-time permanent contract basis, with effect from September 2024. The post offers an excellent opportunity to work in a very strong Expressive Arts Faculty in a highly successful 11-19 academy that holds good Ofsted status. The role will report to the Faculty Leader and the candidate will teach a full timetable within the subject.

Transitional Safeguarding and Young Carers Co-ordinator

Closing date: 26 February 2024

We are seeking to appoint a permanent, part-time Transitional Safeguarding and Young Carers Coordinator to work 24 hours per week (inclusive of 30 minutes of unpaid lunch), three days a week, 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., term-time only plus inset. Reporting to the Assistant Designated Safeguarding Lead, the core purpose of the role is as follows:

• to safeguard and protect the children, young people, and staff of Plume Academy.

• to safeguard and protect the children transitioning into the academy from their primary school setting.

• to coordinate and ensure all Young Carers are identified, supported, and promoted within the academy.

• to promote positive attitudes by students and families towards education and to ensure parents and carers are aware of statutory responsibilities.

Teacher of English

Closing date: 26 February 2024

We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of English on a full-time permanent basis. An immediate start is preferable, but April and September 2024 will be considered. The post offers an excellent opportunity to work in a very strong English Faculty in a highly successful 11-19 academy which holds good Ofsted status. The role also provides a fantastic chance for primary-trained teachers looking for a new challenge to work with our KS3 students. The role will report to the Faculty Leader and the candidate will teach a full timetable across both campuses within the subject.

Teacher of Maths

We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Mathematics to join our expanding team on a full-time permanent basis with effect from April, or September 2024.The post offers an excellent opportunity to work in a very strong Mathematics Faculty in a highly successful 11-19 academy which holds ‘Good’ Ofsted status. The role also provides a fantastic chance for primary-trained teachers looking for a new challenge to work with our KS3 students. The role will report to the Faculty Leader and the candidate will teach a full timetable within the subject.

We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Geography on a full-time permanent basis with effect from April or September 2024. The post offers an excellent opportunity to work in a very strong Humanities Faculty in a highly successful 11-19 academy which holds good Ofsted status. The role will report to the Subject Leader and the candidate will teach a full timetable across both campuses within the subject.

Lettings Co-ordinator and Site Security Officer

Closing date: 26 February 2024

We are seeking to appoint a Lettings Co-ordinator and Site Security Officer on a permanent basis to join our busy and expanding Site Team. The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth running of the academy. The post holder will provide administrative support for all evening lettings, including dealing with initial bookings, greeting hirers, and facilitating the smooth running of Plume Academy during the evenings to include the final lock-up of the building.
