Year 11 Information
Introducing the Year 11 Pastoral Team; a vastly experienced group of dedicated professionals who are excited to be supporting this cohort on their final year of compulsory education here at Plume Academy. Mr Rose and Mrs Rhodes have been part of the journey with this Year Group since Year 7 and are continuing to help the students achieve their best results daily as well as support well-being and personal development throughout Year 11.
Mr Rose – Head of Year 11
Mr Rose leads his 3rd cohort of students through their Plume journey and will be helping them to succeed in their GCSE studies. As a PE teacher competition, respect and a drive to be as successful as possible underpins his ongoing motivation to spur his year group onto GCSE success. Records are there to be broken and Mr Rose has high hopes for his Year group and will hope to inspire them to achieve the very best results for themselves over the course of this academic year!
Mrs Rhodes – Assistant Head of Year 11
Mrs Rhodes is equally experienced and is supporting her 3rd cohort of students through their final year. Mrs Rhodes leads the safeguarding of our students and at this time in a student’s journey through GCSEs, Mrs Rhodes will advise them as the emotions and stress of the final exams approach. Having been through this before with many students our cohort are in safe hands and can be assured that the best advice will always be offered!
This team is vastly experienced and will support each and every student. We continue each day to remind the students of the importance of kindness and hard work that ultimately reaps rewards. The trust that has been forged between the students and their pastoral team strengthens the students approach to learning and they are frequently rewarded with outstanding results.
