College Football Lead Coach – Mr Rob Munro

Rob joined Plume as Football College Lead Coach in November 2020.
​
Rob has been coaching extensively for 31 years and was responsible for setting up one of the very first College Football Programme in the country in 1999.
​
Rob is one of the highest qualified coaches in the country with a UEFA ‘A’ Licence. He remains at the very centre of modern coaching techniques as he delivers Level 1, Level 2 and UEFA ‘B’ Coaching Courses for The FA as a tutor.
​
Rob has extensive coaching experience in The Gambia, South Korea, United States, Germany and Bootle. As a result, he has gained many valuable contacts both at home and abroad to provide students with pathways and to further develop their football and academic talents.
College Football Assistant Lead Coach - Mr Jack Cope

Jack joined Plume in September 2020 as interim Football College Lead Coach and since Rob’s appointment in November, Jack has stayed on as assistant coach on a voluntary basis.
​
Jack has been working within a coaching environment since his days at secondary school and has recently seen him coach in both a male and female coaching setting, as well as playing semi-professional football up to Bostick North level. Since his years at Plume, Jack has gone onto work extensively to gain a multitude of qualifications that include outfield FA Level 1 & 2 Coaching Badges, as well as his Goalkeeping FA Level 1 & 2 Coaching Badges.

Jack is a fantastic example of how the Plume Football College provides a foundation to move onto a successful career, both inside and outside of football. He was a key member of the 2016 cohort who went on to win a league and cup double for the college, in addition to being a well-respected Police Officer in the local area.
